After more than 13 years, Monique Dolfing-Vogelenzang is leaving PharmAccess

PharmAccess CEO Monique Dolfing-Vogelenzang has decided to step down after more than 13 years of service.

The Supervisory Board would like to thank Ms. Dolfing-Vogelenzang for her enormous commitment and success in growing and professionalizing the organization. She established key partnerships and initiatives to increase the organization’s impact to improve access to quality care in sub-Saharan Africa.

Pauline Meurs, Chair of the PharmAccess board: ‘’Monique has been an exemplary leader and we will very much miss her knowledge of the health sector, her drive, and decisiveness. Monique co-founded the Medical Credit Fund, worked as COO, and then as CEO for the last three years, forming strong partnerships to take healthcare financing and development to new heights.’’

Monique Dolfing-Vogelenzang: ‘’It has been an honor to serve PharmAccess and to have been part of such an innovating, high-impact organization. I feel it is time to hand over the reins to the next leader to further develop our ambitious goals. PharmAccess’s mission – to make inclusive health markets work in Africa – is relevant more than ever’’.

Ms. Dolfing-Vogelenzang begins a new phase in her career but will continue serving her role until the end of the year when a new replacement will be appointed.
