PharmAccess mobilizes public and private resources for the benefit of doctors and patients through clinical standards and quality improvements, loans for healthcare providers, health insurance, mHealth innovations and operational research.
"We found some of our farmers actually selling their only cow, their only production unit so as to meet health issues," says Jeremiah Ruto, Director of Tanykina Dairy Plant in the film to explain the health challenges the farmers are facing.
For this reason Tanykina asked PharmAccess and the Health Insurance Fund to introduce health insurance to protect the famers against these dramatic health expenditures and to provide them access to affordable quality health care. In the film famers explain what this means to them and how they can raise their productivity as a result of the health insurance program.
