Woman360 has a threefold vision to; reduce maternal mortality, utilize the abundant human resources in the health sector, and attract domestic and foreign investment in the health sector.
This latest addition to the Woman360 network is a significant step towards lowering Ghana’s maternal mortality which, in 2018, recorded 128 deaths per 100,000 live births. With global targets to reach a maternal mortality rate of 70 per 100,000 live births by 2030 this commitment to providing women and children care couldn’t come a moment sooner.
Chief Executive of Nyarkoa Clinic, Dr Charles Brew Longdon explained that the new franchise will be critical to the holistic wellbeing of the mother from the stage of pregnancy through to delivery.
“Each stage of maternal care should be a positive experience in ensuring women and their babies reach their full potential in health and wellness.”
Woman360 was launched in partnership with the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Resolve Medical Services, Airport Women’s Hospital, MSA Worldwide, Total Impact Capital, Eversheds and PharmAccess with support from the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
